Organization’s needs, for example, can change or workers may take on fresh responsibilities. Talent management ensures that you still have enough workers to carry out all your tasks and avoid heavy workloads that could cause demotivation.

Motivation also requires the correct on boarding to give new hires a great impression of the company from the very beginning. This will increase the chance that they stay with the company and work hard.

4. Developing

Developing employees to help them grow with the organization and training them for the expertise needed to contribute to business success also builds loyalty and improves employee engagement. This begins with an effective onboarding program to help the employee settle into the new role, followed by providing ample opportunities for enhancing the skills, aptitude and proficiency while also enabling growth through counseling, coaching, mentoring and job-rotation schemes.

5. Retaining

For any organization to be truly successful, sustainability, talent needs to be retained effectively. Most organizations try to retain their best talent through promotions and increments, offering opportunities for growth, encouraging involvement in special projects and decision-making, training for more evolved roles and rewards and recognition programs.

6. Transitioning

Organization need to prepare for employee transfers after recruiting and improving their abilities. At this point, the objective is to retain their understanding within the organization, which is called knowledge management. To promote staff or transfer them to another position, department, or office, organization need to have a plan in place. When a worker decides to resign, organization have to know why.

Generally organizations needs to stop assuming that they already have talent management covered just because they have HR at the organization. Talent management rarely happens naturally. The organization obtain and retain top talent and gain a competitive advantage over other businesses in the industry.
